Running Powerpoint in a browser window

I am looking to run Powerpoint in kiosk mode a browser
window (not as html). When I do so:

1) I get a black border around the presentation - is there
any way of changing the colour of this?

2) I get the powerpoint scrollbar down the right hand side
of the presentation window which allows the user to scroll
through the presentation. Is there any way of getting rid
of this so that the only wy the user can progress is
through the buttons that I am using within the
presentation?

If I understand correctly I think you are using the "set
up show" option to "View in a window". Change this option
to "Browsed at a kiosk (full screen) and this will solve
both problems.
From your postings I assume that there are action buttons
to move between screens/select options etc.
