Running office programs from various users

We have installed office 2000 under windows XP and for
some reason only two users can run any of the programs
(Word, Excel or Access). This is regardless of whether
the user is privileged. When we attempt to run for these
disenfranchised users we get a message to put the Office
disk in the CD player, then it tells us that the desired
program cannot be found.
 
It sounds like there are problems with the original
installation. It may require you to remove the whole
Office Suite from the PC and re-install. However, I am
not an expert on this as on a few time I installed Office,
everything worked OK.
