Running Office 2003 on a Visita machine

I just bought a new laptop and it came with the Visita operating system. I
was advise by the techs that none of my older software would work. I create
and admin an Access 2003 Db. Does anyone know if Office 2003 will work on
Visita??
 
Yes Office 2003 is supported on Vista

To check any of your old software for Vista compatibility run the Vista advisor on your old machine

I also just bought a Vista laptop w. Office 2003 and cannot get it to work.
I tried this link and it says Office 2003 has no known problems. But when i
load the old solfward, it says I have an 'elevation' compatability problem.
Can anyone help?
