Does anyone have multiple versions of PowerPoint running on the same
computer (95, 2000, 2003)?

I'd like to run multiple versions of PowerPoint on the same computer
for testing purposes, but would like to know if it is possible before
going out and buying all the versions available.

Thanks a million in advance!!

I have had a couple of versions on my computer at the same time, but I had
to load the oldest first, then the newer ones next (in order). Also you
will need to click "Customize" on the installation and make sure the folder
name is different and that you do NOT ant to remove old versions! Not sure
if it can handle 95, 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003 since I don't keep old
versions around for posterity, but post back if you try and succeed!

Yes, it can. I have 95, 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003 on my WindowsXP
machine.

But to the original poster -- if you're doing this for testing purposes,
and you're testing code or something, you may want to set up the various
versions on separate boot partitions or use virtual PC or something (I
think that's what it's called). Some files (graphics filters, for
instance) are overwritten when you have multiple versions of Office/PPT
installed, so this could make your testing invalid. Depends what kind of
testing you're doing, though.
