Well...I have been through it six times...installed from
site and downloaded; uninstalled; rebooted; disabled
antivirus; reinstalled; ad nausium....

All I get after the splash screen is the three icons in
the upper right side of the MSAntiSpy window two of which
don't work (get the hourglass for about 2 seconds but
nothing on the screen changes); attempted "Scan Now" just
the window - nothing. A friend of mine with almost the
same setup installed his with no problems. Running XP Pro
SP 2.

At my wits end - though I should get use to it -
"Microsoft" and "beta" are like oil and water...

Sound like you may want to see if your Video Card vendor has an updated
video drive.

Thanks for the reply.

Did - apparently the video driver is up to date. This is a
new computer only about 5 weeks old.

Thanks to everyone for your assistance. I'm going to
chaulk this one up to "not ready for even beta Microsoft"
and uninstall it with no intentions to ever load it again.
It has left a bad taste in my mouth of ever using anything
in the way of a antispam software from Microsft. It looks
like Microsoft again took what was reported to be a great
software product, tweeked it, and caused it so many bugs
that its not worth even trying again.

There are too many other anti-spam software packages out
there that do not cause any of these problems. Another
Microsoft blunder.

If you can't even get the program to install properly, I can't blame you for
giving up.

However--troubleshooting such issues is what a beta is about, so I'm not
surprised that such issues happen.

I'd encourage you to try it again if another beta version is announced.
