I think there is a bug in the program
if I run a bat file, it first asks if I want to let it run, if I choose yes,
then its alright, but if I choose NO, even with the "always block" option
unchecked, the next time i want to it blocks it again. it shouldnt do this
since i choose it not to.

Hi alaur;
Yes, it's sort of a usability issue actually with Beta1. Open MSAS Manage
Allowed/Blocked Scripts first and leave it open while your attempting to allow
or block the bat execution. I think you'll see how it works more clearly if
this panel is open while you attempt to run or occasionally block the script .
Maybe Beta2 will be more user friendly? Nice screen captures, by the way.

Nicest screen capture that I have found is "Gadwin Print Screen. Free and
offers many very nice options.

That looks like a bug all right. Excellent demo--can I ask how you do that
capture?

There are a number of bugs relating to script processing in beta1--it is
probably better to turn off that checkpoint if you do any significant amount
of work with batch files or scripts.

At this point I would look to retest this issue with beta2. I feel quite
confident that it won't be present in that version.

Thanks--I've got Windows Media Encoder which I've used to reformat content
for a portable device--never thought of using it in that way--will look into
it--that kind of demo could be useful for some bug reporting.
