Running 2 DHCP servers

We were bought by a larger company and now we are having conflicts between
our networks. We operate on 2 different domains (trusted) and have 2
different IP addresses pools. Our problem is that when both domains use a
DHCP server, IP addresses are given from either server. For example, a
computer in domain A can get an IP address from the DHCP server in domain A
or B and vice versa.

Is it possible to prevent this and make sure computers request an address
from the DHCP server in their domain only?
 
You can do one of the following:

1. Segment your networks into separate subnets for each domain. Make sure
the router between the subnets is NOT doing bootp relay.
or
2. Consolidate your DHCP servers to one. If the clients are all on the same
phyical network, why use two DHCP servers and two IP addressing schemes?
