Hello! i am getting, on start-up, a warning notice stating
Runner Error, and below that "Invalid Backweb Application"
id 4448364. This causes the start-up programs to be
enlarged and fuzzy, plus all the desktop icons.
After deleting all this the page changes back to normal.
Can you please advise as to what the warning is about?

A backweb application is attempting to connect to another remote computer in
the background. This could be an honest program (some sort of software
update) or it could be a nasty program out to do evil.

Simply, it looks like your computer seems to be trying to start a program at
startup and cannot?Have you run an antivirus program lately? Spyware
detection/removal? Trojan Removal tool?

It sounds like you did, and the removal tool did not get everything.

It would help if you explained which of any the above you did., and possible
what it found.

Once known, you can set about manually removing the problem child, which
could be starting from any of several places.

For HP/Compaq systems:

Error "Invalid BackWeb Application ID (######)" at startup
