Hi all,

Every time I run the display properties from the control panel and then move
to the Desktop tab the display properties stops working and i get a message
that "Run a DLL as an App has encountered an error".

Where do I start looking to solve this problem. I have copied the rundll32
form the install CD onto my systenm but that did no good.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Could be that it has found something it really doesn't like about your
current wallpaper, or the contents of your:

My Pictures Folder
"SystemPartition\WINDOWS" Folder
or your "SystemPartition\Windows\Web" Folder

Each time I shut down, I experience a problem with rundll32.exe program not shutting down properly & have to manually tell it to stop. How can I correct this?

Hi elizanator,

rundll32.exe is not a folder, but a program Windows XP needs, it is on
the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

Good luck
