RUNDLL Error

keep getting this RUNDLL error:
**Error loading winupd.dll The specified module could not
be found. AND,
**Error loading wincore.dll (etc.)

and info on what this means and how to fix it would be
greatly appreciated. thanks mvp-ers!

Hi,

Those files are from an ad program that is installed on your machine, you
will want to remove it. See:
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=ADW_TARGETSOFT.A&VSect=T

It may not hurt to download, install, and run adaware from www.lavasoft.de
either.

tried Rick's two solutions. removed the target. didn't
find the files in computer. can't afford to purchase the
software from lavasoft. any other suggestions? guys??
gals?? help........

There is a free version of Adaware on Lavasoft's site.
