Please help with the following problem.
Each time I bring my system up, I receive the follwoing error:
windows loading c/system/32/ftwpogk.dll could not be found rundll

I have no idea what this error means and I have searched high and low for
the answer with no results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you please supply the exact message?
You may try disabling it in Startup until you know what it is.
Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab

A Google search for ftwpogk.dll brings up nothing.

Either you mistyped the name or you have some sort of malware.

UPDATE your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

UPDATE whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

You might want to start in Safe Mode to run your antivirus and anti-spyware
software.

Running a full system antivirus scan or anti-spyware scan in Safe Mode can
be a good idea. Some viruses and other malware like to conceal themselves
in areas Windows protects while using them. Safe mode will prevent those
applications access and therefore unprotect the viruses or other malware
allowing for easier removal.

Thanks so much for the detailed information. I am going to follow your advice
and will let you know how it works out. Oh, by the way, I couldn't locate
anything either and I did type ftwpogk.dll correctly.
Thanks again.

If ftwpogk.dll does not exist on your machine any more, that's why your
getting the error message. It probably did at one time, that's why your
getting the error.

There is still a registry entry pointing to the missing ftwpogk.dll file.

Chances are it is in one of these:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
or
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
