Hi and thanks ahead of time to any who might help shed some light on this
problem. I will peruse the boards as well, but I thought I'd get a head start
and post this error.
The problem I'm having is this:
When first starting the PC I like to change my skins, wallpaper, etc. so,
shortly after startup, I'll open the display properties window and access the
'Desktop' tab first to remove my old wallpaper. Sometimes, not always, when
accessing the 'Desktop' tab before I can use the scrollbar to change my
wallpaper, I'll get an error something to the effect of: " Error with RunDll
as an app " and it needs to shut down. I also get the 'Send, Dont Send' and
the infamous Post Mortem Debugger shutdown as well with the Send, Dont Send.
After this happens, I need to reboot the PC. As I said before , this happens
only occasionally at startup.
Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?
Many thanks! I will look around the boards for a similar error in the
meantime.
