Hi folks,

Two questions.

#1. What is the difference between the XP General and Basic newsgroup?
This one seems to get much more traffic but I never know if I am posting to
the correct one.

#2. When my neighbor boots his computer (XP SP2), he gets the following
dialogue
box.

---------------------------------------------------------
RUNDLL

Error loading DOCE0C16B1
The specified module could not be loaded

OK (button)
----------------------------------------------------------
I don't know if the Zeros in the above message are Zeros or Ohhhs.

He is running McAfee AV. Any clues?

TIA,

Tom

None to speak of. In my view, it would have been much better if they had
made only one of these instead of two (and also added a couple of others in
too--newusers isn't needed, and help_and_support isn't needed, since nobody
asking questions there seems to understand what it was supposed to be about
(it wasn't for general help and support, but for help with the "help and
support" *feature*).

Regarding -'Error loading DOCE0C16B1'

Scan your system with latest versions of Spybot,Search and
Destroy,CWShredder as well as Adaware.Run all these in Safe mode.

Start>Run>msconfig>ok
Click the Startup tab and locate any suspicious entry, uncheck the box
against that and restart.
