I'm trying to open Word2000, but I don't want it to start
with a new document. I used /e on my Excel97 shortcut and
it works. But I can't seem to figure out how to do it with
Word. Thank you in advance for any help !

In Word the appropriate switch is /n. Note the following caveat: "Documents
opened in each instance of Word will not appear as choices in the Window
menu of other instances."
