Run time question

I have a simple database that I'm giving to a couple people.
I went through the packaging, etc. but somewhere in my reading I remember
getting the idea that all I need to do is supply the file and the runtime
exe file.

Is this correct?
Can the file be accdb or does it have to be accde ?

Never mind.
Install the runtime
Rename the file to Yourapp.accdr and run that.
If you have split the database it still picks up the backend with no name
change.
