Run Time Error

I keep getting a box up saying there is a 'MS Visual C++' run time error on
XP Pro.

I have tried the usual Adaware and Spybot but they don't get rid of it.

Does anyone know of any freeware that might do the trick.

have you recently installed ms office or any office programs?
