I'm reinstalling RIS, but want to use my existing images.
I've restored the RemoteInstall directory from tape and
installed the RIS component. After reboot I need to run
RISETUP, but that process won't let me get past the
install image screen and it won't use the existing images
that are on there. I don't want to install another W2kPro
image because all my images have ServicePack 4 on them.
How can I setup RIS without installing another image?
Carlton.

Just slipstream the SP4 into a flat image of Win2000 and make that first
image as it requests.

You first copy the CD i386 directory to a location on the hard drive and
then extract the SP4 to the hard drive. From there you can update the
CD-based i386. You then run RISETUP on the updated i386 to create a SP4 RIS
image. We don't want to try and slipstream an existing RIS image. (here's a
link to explain)
