Eric

I'm looking for a way to run a simple, quick program at shutdown. I'm not
much of a programmer or IT person, but could probably handle entering
something into the registry if there is a way to use it to do what I want.

Thanks,
-Eric

(W2K)
Execute gpedit.msc (local Policies)

\Local Computer Policies\Computer Configuration\Scripts\shutdown\

For the machine.
There are settings for User logon/logoff in the User Configuration
section too.
