Run .net application locally from a server

Internet Explorer 7 install problem

Our VS.NEMT 3.5 files our on a server, like this \\server\app\solution.sln.
I can load this solution buy double-clicking, which obviously loads VS 2008
on my locally machine. When I hit > (to run the app) I get this error:

"Required permissions cannot be acquired"

So question is how do I make it work? I'm trying to run an application from
a server locally.
 
You may need to give full access to your login
OR
Copy project files locally and start working on the same.
