Run Macro when starting powerpoint

CAn I do something by which when powerpoint is started it should start a
macro and close powerpoint once macro is run.

CAn anybody help me out.

Creating an addin that does this via the Auto_Open subroutine is one approach,
but once such an addin is loaded, PowerPoint would become useless for anything
BUT running the code in the add-in; the user couldn't even start PPT to unload
the addin (because every time PPT started, the addin would load and shut PPT
down). You'd have to go diving in the registry or rename/delete the addin file
to get rid of it.

What are you trying to accomplish here?
