Run History

Keith

When I click on Start > Run, it opens up a box to type into, there is a
drop down arrow which used to allow me to select from previous commands that
I had used, recently this has changed and is now blank. If I type in cmd,
etc, then the next time I re-start my PC it is blank again. It appears to be
erasing my history, I have not selected to delete my recent documents as
this is the only thing I can think of?

Any ideas?

Install "TweakUI":
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

TweakUI > Explorer > Clear document history on exit > untick.

If there is WinXP Pro installed, that setting is available via Group
Policy as well. Start > Run: GPEDIT.MSC
