Howdy . . . what's the XP version of the old Win98
command "winipcfg"? . . . And is there a list or a place
to go to get a run down of some of the most commonly
used "Run" commands?? . . . Thanks . . .

Hi,

It's "ipconfig"

and if you want to renew your ip type ipconfig /renew
or if you want to release your ip type ipconfig /release

and if you want to see all the info just type
inconfig /all

You need to open a command prompt window first. Then type "ipconfig /all".

There is an XP version called WntIpcfg_setup.exe works the same as the old
Windows 98 version, does the same as opening a command prompt but prettier.

The command is ipconfig start-run-cmd (get to a dos box,
c: prompt) Ipconfig /? gives the parms
