Is the run command box the same as the dos prompt?

Hi,
It's a dos emulator, there is no "true" dos in a WinXP installation.
Functionally, it can be used roughly the same way.

Well, thanks for the tribute, James. Lots of goodies but gosh, which ones
do you want?
Hang out in the newsgroups when you have a bit of extratime and you'll pick up plenty from all of the contributors! Am a firm
believer that having a good handle on the operating system is a good route
to making sure that everything else you want to run on the PC/network will
work as well and reliably as it can.
