Run command for replacing windows files if you are missing them

I cannot think of it. My computer is running pretty slow.. so I thought I
would try and replace windows files, short of repairing it.. Can someone
tell me what that is.. SFC /scannow is that right? It asks you to insert
the windows disc? hugs Rainy
