How do I batch a file called. sample.exe into XP? I used to use batch using
autoexec.bat on obselete MS DOS?

I believe there is a file for it for batch.

If you used to run this using autoexec.bat, and it is an exe file, I assume
that you are trying to get this program to run every time you start up the
computer. You can get the same effect by placing a shortcut to this file in
the startup folder of the start menu.

Please clarify what you are asking. What do you mean by "batch a
file" and "file for it for batch"?

no, every 30 minutes or so. I know all startup stuff and I know all about
Scheduled Tasks. Scheduled Tasks is giving me problems because of passwords.
Long story, but I dont want passwords. So I seek assistance with batch with
xp. Can you help me? :)

MsDos is indeed obselete... I cannot use autoexec.bat on Windows XP. Please
show me how to use autoexec.bat on this XP operating system if it is
possible.. Everyone says no. Anyway, I need to learn how to run a batch on
Windows XP. The batch is simply a small file called test.exe ..I want to
run it every 30 minutes or so..
