If I need to change the system clock, but don't want to log on as
admin. is there a way to do this without having to type the run as
command?

Hello chad,

Use restricted groups and add your account to the local administrators groups.
You also had to add the administrator to this group, because restricted groups
will cick out all accounts except the configured ones.

I should have explained better. What I mean is that oftentimes I need
to change something for a user. But the user is not an admin so they
can't change it. I just want to change it for them without logging out.

The situation you describe is why they created the run as command.

Right, but let's say I just wanted to change the clock. I would have
to find out what folder it's in, what it's called, and type it out in
the command line. It would be easier to log out.

One term for good security would be inconvenience.

It is inconvenient to have to find the key and unlock the door every time
you come home, but at least everything is there when you get inside.
