This is getting old. I cannot get into Windows Mail, as I keep getting a
message that says I'm not logged on as the administrator, and I need to log
off and then log on as administrator. However, when I check it, it says I AM
the administrator. I'm the only user on this computer, so it isn't someone
else.

This problems has reoccured numerous times since I've had this computer,
though not for a while. Sometimes rebooting works, sometimes shutting all
power off works, sometimes, nothing works, like now.

Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\ in Explorer and drag Winmail.exe to the
Desktop and choose to create a shortcut there. Then right click on the
shortcut and go to Properties and click the Advanced button and check the
box to run as Administrator and then use that shortcut. See if that fixes
things.

It works now, but I don't know why. I had tried to send an email previously
and it didn't go; the popup window listed the administrator issue. The
message was saved and I tried to resent it, no luck. But when I deleted it,
everything was fine. Idid create the shortcut, we'll see what happens.
Thanks

A non-compatible antivirus program can cause some strange effects
in Windows Mail.
