Run a Macro in a Query...

If the form is bound to the query, then closing the form will automatically
update the data that are contained in the query, thereby updating the data
in the tables. Perhaps we're not understanding your question....?

Actually what I want to do is this:

I have a table in Onyx(program), I want the Onyx table to update the Access
table that I have. I want this macro to pull the data from the onyx table
and update the access table at a specified time. Is this possible and if so,
where to I start? Is it easier to do in visual basic? I know this is very
basic, but I really don't know how else to state it, sorry for the confusion,
any help is appreciated.

I won't be of much help. I haven't used Onyx software/application, so I have
no understanding of it. You may be able to link to a table in the Onyx file
via ODBC connection and then you could read/edit data in that table via
ACCESS software.

May I suggest that you post a new question to
microsoft.public.access.externaldata newsgroup and include Onyx in the
post's title? That will be a more likely place for receiving an answer to
your question.

Thanks, will do
