Hi,
I try to sort my mail by making rules. However, sometimes, if
two rules are applied to one message, it seems to leave a copy in the folder
where it's sorted to first. How do I avoid that?

Regards

Perhaps by adding the "delete it" option to the second rule.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

In the first "move" rule add the action "and stop processing more rules"

Thanks. Seems to make sense. But how do I add this? The dialog boxes are
rather confusing. I'm on Outlook 2002.

When you set the action "move to folder" scroll ab it down and als select
"stop processing more rules". You'll have this option if you start creating
a blank rule not bases on a template.

OK. I found out myself. Very bad interface from Microsoft there I must say.
When you mark a rule and select "change" you don't have the choice of
modifying a rule, just "create a rule from a template" (which is the right
alternative, even though it sounds silly. Why does Microsoft want to make
things harder for us???) or "start with an empty rule" (my translation from
Swedish).
Problem solved
