Has anyone or is there any net site that has a definitive list of methods to
use GUID fields (SQL UniqueIdentifier) in Access 2000+. For example, it seems
that you can sometimes have a subform link to a main form via a GUID field,
sometimes not. Does it depend on the data source of the forms? When using a
GUID as a query criteria, it seems to be that you have to use the text form.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Never used them myself, so I can't comment, but I am aware of an article by
Michael Kaplan on the subject. It's at the following URL ...

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Yeah - I saw that page when searching for info - did not tell me anything I
didn't know already. I know using GUIDs is a complex problem - I was hoping
someone had blazed this territory already.
