Is there a way to make an email rule in Rules & Alerts to move all
incoming messages from a specified domain (i.e. @ij.net) to a particular
folder, but rather than use the full email address (i.e. (e-mail address removed))?

I'm using OL 2003.

Thanks,

Dennis

I use a rule that scans the header on a certain domain. Works fine for me
:-)

Tips of the month:
-Creating Signatures
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

When creating the rule, don't use the "from people or distribuion list"
option, but the "with specific words in the sender's address" condition.
Set the "specific words" to domain.com.

That should do it.

Sure. Use "with specific words in the sender's address" and make those
specific words "ij.net".

Whe I go to create a new rule I don't see the "specific words in the
sender's address" as an option.

I have an option of "specific words in the subject", but not the sender's
address.

When I use the "Move messages from someone to a folder" and enter only the
domain, I receive an error that says Microsoft Office Outlook does not
recognize @ij.net"

Am I missing a piece?

Thanks for your extra help,

Dennis

I found the place you were referring to. I have to start from a blank rule
instead of creating a rule from a template.

The blank rule has a million options.

Thanks,

Dennis
