Ruler Settings

I seem to have a bug in a particular presentation.
Whenever I add a new text box indent arrow on the ruler
doesn't work. As I type and hold the shift key the next
line automaticlly indents and the lower arrow in the ruler
area has no effect on the indentation. If I try this in a
blank presentation it works fine and if I cut and paste a
test from a blank presentation into the current one it
works fine. Only new text I create usding the text box
tool is effected. Is this a bug or am I missing something.

Hi Tony,

You may want to check the setup of the text box
placeholder on your Master Slide.

Hi Glenna,

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately it's not the text
placeholders in the master. It's when we want to add
additional text using the text add tool icon. The little
icon with the letter in the corner. When we click to add a
free floating text box the indent arrow doesn't seem to
respond. I do this on another presentation and it's fine.
Normally I'd just chalk this up to a bug and move on
excpet it's a presentation for the president of the
company and I'd prefer to find a fix rather than starting
over from scratch. :-(

Sorry, Tony. I couldn't figure out a way to get the tab
and bullet formatting for the text box to stay.
