Hello all. If I'm not mistaken, in the NT days, if you were to install
an addtional component to an NT server, you should re-run the service
pack. Does this still apply in W2K?
If it does, what about this situation:
1. Build server, W2K, no SP.
2. Install SP4, and create the uninstall directory.
3. Install component X.
4. Install SP4 again.
Now, when I ran #2, the SP0(zero) version of files were put in the
uninstall directory. On step #4, will it take the SP4 version of files
and put those in the uninstall directory, making it impossible to truly
"uninstall" SP4?
Thanks for any info.
