Rule for meeting appointments / invitations?

Here's a new one on me. I'm in yet another contract, this time it's my
first at a managerial level. So, moving on up.

The new twist here is that I'm receiving all the meeting invitations sent to
my boss, a DG. And they're turning out to be quite a few. Since they're
just coming to me and I don't need to action them, wanted to set up a rule
so that they'd be diverted into a specific folder. Also, would like my own
meeting requests to have a rule of their own to go into yet another folder.

But, couldn't figure out how to do this via the usual rule method I've been
using for years. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks! :oD

I think rules are a bit limited on Version 2000. You could use words in the
subject:

For example, if the Subject contains "Mettings Request:" then do whatever.

Does OL 2000 have a rule whose condition is "uses the _form name_ form"? If
so, you could select the "meeting request" form to process all meeting
requests. You could include the "Appointment" form as well so that it
processes either meeting requests or appointments that you receive.

Yes, it does! This works fabulously (so far, at any rate <g>). I set up a
rule and when some instances still slipped through, got them with the
appointment form.

Thanks for this! Every new job we go to tends to bring new challenges but
an inbox full of meeting requests that now get shunted to another folder
really makes life a heck of a lot easier! <g>

Thanks for letting us know.
