Ive had a gut full of this vista crap....cnnot open emails...or windows
media player...or my mcafee security ...cannot log into internet banking
either....this vista is all garbage

Sounds as if there are issues that could benefit from the help of a
knowledgeable person. Or, if a new PC, check with the company that sold
it to you.

Vista runs just fine when set up and configured properly, using
compatible hardware and programs.

Get rid of MacAfee. It is known to cause problems like yours. Use something else other than Norton and MacAfee like AVG or something similar that is free
 
Make sure that your system is properly configured (plenty of RAM). Our first
Vista machine was "quirkey" until we installed enough RAM for the system to
operate correctly. Started with 512MB and upgraded to 1024MB/1Gig. No
problems to speak of since the upgrade. I understand the frustration.........
