G Gary Tsang Mar 2, 2004 #3 Hi, The RTM version is the final version which is build 2600, while there is a newer update that has come out which is Windows XP Service Pack 1 which can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default.asp The difference from the 2600 version and SP1 is that the security updates and patches are installed in SP1.
