.rtf files

When I open MY Computor, Ihave undreds of .rtf files.,plus the files
which aresupposed to be there. Do I need these files? and how do I get
rid of them?

..rtf are rich text files, basically a fancy text document. Do you need them?

You should be able to open them in Microsoft Word.... or MS Works, or
WordPerfect or just about any word processor. It's a pretty standard
format.

Then you can see what's in them and make your decision....
