RTF Export

We recently purchased 16 new computers with Windows XP Pro
SP1 on them. We have about 100 or so other computers
which were previously purchased with Windows XP Pro. We
are running Office 97 on all of them. From Access our
users press "Publish it with MS Word" to create an RTF
from an Access Report to email, etc. On the older
machines this works fine. On the new ones, the RTF cuts
off basically half of the page (looks like the right
margin is wrong). I have tried re installing the printer
drivers, tried a mirad of printers, played with the
margins in Access, and moved around the text boxes on the
Access Report. None of this has worked. Upgrading to a
newer version of Office is not an option right now. I
need some kind of direction here because the operating
systems are the same and the only difference is the model
number of the computers and the age. They are all Compaq
machines with some Dell machines. I don't have this issue
either with a new Dell laptop that is only 3 months old.
It is only with the 16 new Compaqs. I am not aware of
anything that would cause this. Can someone help me out?

Does not look like this issue:
ACC97: Memo Field That Is Exported to RTF Format May Be Truncated
at:

WinXP does have some screen metric problems. Try reverting to the Windows
Classic theme. (The fact that this happens on 16 identical machines but not
others suggests the display driver may be a factor.)

There is also an issue with Access 97 yielding the wrong Count of the
Controls in the Section of a report when run under XP, but I don't see how
that would affect this either.

Thanks for the direction. As it turns out, all I had to
do was up the screen resolution from 800X600 to 1024X768
and the letters converted without a problem. One would
wonder though that if the RTF convertor runs off of the
printer DLL, why the screen resolution has to do with
anything. At anyrate it worked.

Thanks!
Brian
