This statement was made in another newsgroup...

"It is my understanding that Vista when released will support RSS 0.9x,
RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0, Atom 0.3 and Atom 1.0. Am I missing something? Are
there multiple levels of support?

Is there a whitepaper, other documents, or comments that can help me
determine the facts.

There are different types of feeds, Atom came about because the developers
considered RSS to be too limited, the RSS developers decided to halt at 2.0
and so on.
Is there a whitepaper, other documents, or comments that can help me
determine the facts.

These might be of use.

Thanks but you didn't answer the question. I thought the question would be
obvious after reading what I clearly quoted from somebody else so again, the
question is:

Which version of RSS is supported by Vista? This MSDN article [1] is old and
other versions of RSS and/or support for Atom may be supported. Is this
clear as mud or what?

That sort of rudeness won't likely get you any help from anyone.
