We'd like our new site to be able to provide other sites with news through
RSS feeds.

In our software architecture plan, where do we logically describe this
'subsystem'? Is the RSS feature to be seen as a Service and as such to be
exposed by the Service Interfaces layer?

Hello Bevo,

Service? Hmmmm, seems not, coz it's just webControl with interface to your
news.
Why is it need to be exposed by SIL? RSS is only another way to shipping
your news - either on the main page of site, or by RSS

So if we want to show our RSS feeds in a logical view of the subsystems, we
should put them in the Presentation layer?

Hello Bevo,

it's up to u. RSS is just updated XML file. You can implement it in any way
