I am attempting to automate my tape backups by using the
rsm.exe utility. I have determined the GUID of my tape
drive and then ran the command "rsm.exe view /cg%
tapeguid% /tphysical_media" which on one of my Windows
2000 SP4 Servers returns the name of the media currently
in the tape drive. Unfortunately on all my other Windows
2000 SP4 Servers (with the same model of HP tape drive) if
I run the same command I get the "Enumerate Object api
failed" error. I checked the ntmsapi.dll on they are the
same version on both servers. I have googled for someone
with the same error, but was unable to find anything
helpful at all. I would appreciate all the help you can
give.
