rsh.exe and rshx32.dll - SP4 - unfriendly behaviour

Hello,

we're using "rsh" inside our cluster and in connection
with a UNIX-system for some batches.
With SP4 and the exchange of theses two files, the
behaviour changed.
Now the sessions opened by rsh do wait for a <ENTER>-
button to be pressed at the end of the session, before
closing the window.
We've exchanged these two files with the previous
versions. They do not behave like that.
Is there a way to make the new rsh.exe and rshx32.dll
behave the right way?
Versions with problems:
rsh.exe: 5.0.2195.6612
rshx32.dll: 5.0.2195.6613

Any idea?

Thx

Here's an even better one...
We have a similar problem with W2K SP4. We've been replacing the
rsh.exe and rshx32.dll in System32 with the versions from pre-sp4.
But recently, we've noticed on several W2K boxes that when we
copy the old files into the System32 directory, they are reverted
to the newer files within 10 seconds or so. What is doing that?
The fix was working, but it now seems that W2K is 'protecting' the
System32 directory to the point of not letting you overwrite the
files in the directory. Can we get a reply from MS on this one?
It's really causing havoc when running some of our .bat files
that talk to UNIX from our software. I can provide all the details
you need as far as hotfixes applied and versions of files if I
can just get a definitive answer as to how to work around the
problem and when a fix should be expected...
Thanks,
