I'm trying to set up a test subnet for a linux PCs using Windows Server RRAS.
I've got a server with two NICs, one on the main network (10.0.0 subnet) and
one for the test network (192.168.0 subnet).
Setting up RRAS using the LAN router option works, but only one way. I can
see and ping all the linux boxes from the 10.0.0 network, but not the other
way around. Even adding static routes (which I thought wasn't need when using
RRAS as a private LAN router) doesn't work. I always get timeout on ping
packets.
The gateways on the respective PCs/linux boxes are correctly set to the
relevant NIC on the RRAS server so I can't see where I'm going wrong? I can't
afford a hardware router solution at the moment so I thought the Windows
router would be ideal.
