Will the Win2000 SP4 RRAS service's routing features
support 802.1p quality of service (QoS) information
across two interfaces? Assume both RRAS interfaces have
802.1p-compatible NICs and the Microsoft "QoS Packet
Scheduler" network service is bound to both adapters in
the Win2K connection configurations.
I'm using Win2000 RRAS as a router between my LAN and WAN
connections. We're considering a basic VoIP solution
that uses 802.1p to prioritize voice traffic over all
other traffic. We've identified replacement 802.1p-
compatible switch and NIC hardware but don't necessarily
want to buy a new router to take over for the Win2k
software router.
