I don't really know how to explain this, but I have a server running Windows
2000 server SP 4 with updates
that is our NAT server, running RRAS
that seems to reboot every time someone in the office trys to ftp something.
And it is not all ftp attempts. Only those that occur through say Internet
Explorer.
If I use a non microsoft ftp client like say BulletProof FTP the connection
goes through
without problem, but if I click on a link in IE that invokes an ftp link,
the dammed thing hiccups and reboots.
I can repeat this at will. But I do not see anything in the log that seems
to help me figure out why.
Does anybody have an explanation?
