RRAS fails to start

The Lloydster

RRAS fails to start and the Event Viewer says "The Routing
and Remote Access service terminated with service-specific
error 711." W2K Server SP4 fully patched / SQL 2000 SP# /
BackupExec 9.0. HELP!
 
Hi

Can you verify whether 'Remote Access Connection manager' service and 'Plug
and Play' service is running on the machine?

Typically this error occurs when these services are not running.
 
Also make sure the Remote Registry Service and RPC service is running.
