we have 2 rras servers - one each of our DC's. One of the DC's handles
dhcp/ dns etc.
The IP allocation for rras is handled by dhcp. A range of addresses showed
in dhcp as ras addresses.
When a remote client dials in, a new entry for each DC is made in DNS.
As a result, users on the LAN have connectivity problems connecting to the
DC's as the DC is resolved to the new address.
To resolve we have to delete the dns entries and then flushdns on the
problem client.
At present we have disabled rras, deleted the incorrect entries from DNS and
delted the ip addresses from dhcp.
I've looked at kb232651 but not sure if that's exactly what problem is.
I know that I can assgn a range of static addresses to get round this but
I'm curious what could be causing it.
Thanks
