RRAS default route

Hi,

I am having a weird problem with RRAS. My server is win2k server SP4, with
ISA 2004 (The same problem is exibited with ISA uninstalled so problem is
not there.), it is multihomed with one private and one public IP address,
both are static and there is no default gateway specified on the internal
NIC. The RRAS is needed to create VPN connections to remote sites.

Whenever I enable RRAS the routing to outside the network fails, on looking
in the IP routing table there is no default route and the internal interface
is non-operational. trying to ping any addresses outside the network
results in destination host unreachable. If I add a static route to 0.0.0.0
it makes no difference. With RRAS disabled ROUTE PRINT shows the correct
0.0.0.0 route through the correct default gateway as specified in the
external NIC TCP/IP settings.

This setup was working perfectly until we removed Proxy Server 2 a couple
of weeks ago, RRAS seemed to throw a hairy fit then and hasn't been the same
since! I have even gone as far as wiping and reinstalling win2k to no
avail!

I know this is a bit vague but I dodn't want to post a load of ipconfig and
route print etc if I didn't need to. Does anyone have any ideas what may be
causing the problem?

TIA

Adam

posting both results of ipconfig /all with isa and without isa may help.

Looking at the IP Route table it looks almost as though RRAS is not picking
up any of the routes from Network Management. On looking on another of my
servers (which is the same setup by the way, and it works!) I noticed that
the 0.0.0.0 route comes from the netowork management protocol. There are no
routes from that protocol in the server which doesn't work's routing table.
