I keep getting a screan that pops up and says remote
procedure call and it shuts down my computer. Is there
anyway that I can correct this problem ?

Um, where have you been the last half of this year? You've contracted
the MSBlast Worm (or Blaster Worm, Blaster Virus, etc). Instructions
to remove it are all over the 'net. Suggest you do a Google search on
the specifics, they plug the hole that allowed you to get it in the
first place.
 
NO there is no way to correct this problem,You are an
IDIOT and an IDIOT is a IDIOT forever.
 
That is not an appropriate response for you to use to someone that has
a problem.
It is probable that the description you gave the OP also applies to
yourself.

What is your point of discouraging others from seeking assistance in
these newsgroups?
Not everyone has complete total knowledge as yourself.
