Was this the blaster virus, my brothers computer kept on popping up with
this message:

Remote Procedure call Windows Shutting Down in 59 Seconds.

I found the virus and removed it, but was the above caused by the virus?

Yes, that was the blaster worm doing that. If you removed it, you shouldn't
see it again. Did you remember to patch Windows?

yes, it wasn't my computer it was actually my brothers, but i fixed it for
him. It only happened when he was connected to the internet.
